PRAGUE ARCHITECTURE AND URBANISM FESTIVAL: NEXT
SATPO was part of this year's 14th annual Architecture and Urbanism Festival, which focused on transport, the environment, security, housing and architectural heritage in our capital.
The Prague: Next exhibition took place from 24 to 27 October 2019 and mapped the present and future visions of development in Prague. She showed visitors what the capital city of Prague and its individual city districts are preparing, what Prague residents and visitors to Prague can do this year and in the years to come. Part of the exhibition was also devoted to the historical context reminiscent of the development of Greater Prague in the years 1918 to 1938 with all the concepts, plans and implemented and unrealized projects.
Czech Architecture Week Prague, which organized the exhibition, has been successfully creating a platform for thirteen years, acquainting the public with new urban plans, their characteristics and solutions to the problems associated with their implementation. Through its activities, it also strives to contribute to a conscious and responsible approach of the public to its surroundings and the environment.
